Mesmer releases State Funded “Teaching Gamecraft”
Public resource now available free on the Internet
Seattle—June 20, 2003—Mesmer, Inc. (http://www.mesmer.com/) announced today that it has completed and released the exciting new “Teaching Gamecraft” curriculum and support materials for Schools, Colleges and Universities teaching the art, philosophy, technique and development of computer games.
Funded with two State of Washington SKILLS grants, this curriculum represents recognition by the State of Washington of the enormous economic importance of the computer game industry, and the tremendous need for high quality, integrated curriculum materials for teaching the next generations of video game producers.
“Teaching Gamecraft” is composed of five modules:
