Mesmer can assist in the pre-project planning of the workflow and design of the production facility, Mesmer can provide great professional software training either in our learning labs or at your facility, and Mesmer can provide specialists for very short-term problem solving sessions to get you over the hump. Services Software Training When you need to bring a team up to speed on an animation tool like Alias Maya, Avid/Softimage XSI and 3D|Extreme, or Discreet 3DS Max and Combustion, we can help with short term, professional, certified classroom instruction for your team. We will tailor a curriculum for your specific needs, your team, your timeline and your budget. Mesmer will provide all curriculum and learning material. Training room requirements: We'll train at your location, or you can reserve the use of a Mesmer training lab in Washington or California at no additional cost. If you choose to have the training provided at your location, each team member and the instructor should have his or her own computer running all the software to be trained. A projector for the instructor machine would be handy. Pricing: Mesmer Inc. prices these classes at $350 per person per day, with a minimum of three people required for training classes. If you have 5 or more people to train, a 10% discount is applied. You will also pay for travel expenses for the instructor, if you choose to train at your facility. Consulting: Technical Direction, Systems Design and Problem Solving Sometimes it's just a good idea to hear from someone else with more experience before you take on a new task. Sometimes a little consulting work can help you steer clear of expensive, time wasting delays in production. Mesmer can work with you on a consulting basis, either virtually or with onsite visits, to design and set up a functional production workflow. Mesmer can help you make decisions about workgroup and network design, about the kinds of people needed and what their roles will be, and about what technology and software will be most useful in achieving your goals. Pricing: Mesmer Inc. prices consulting at $200 per hour, and can also provide project based pricing, or work on a monthly retainer. Demo Artists: Talent for shows, sales events and presentations Sometimes your company just needs a skilled technocrat to make people excited by what the hardware and software can do. Mesmer demo artists have preformed this function at all the major tradeshows, including SIGGRAPH, the 3D Conference, GDC, and Seybold. Pricing: Demo artist pricing is $1000 per day, and minimal travel expenses to and from the location of the show. Ordering How do I make it happen? Step 1: Make a note of the type of service you need, the products involved, and when you need the service. Step 2: Call Mesmer at 1.800.237.7311 and ask for Professional Services. Provide your contact information, the type of service you want, the location, the products involved and when you need the services by. We'll then take that information and call back with a proposed schedule for you. Step 3. On your approval, we'll fax a bid form detailing all the charges for the services. Please sign it, provide a Purchase Order number if one is available, and fax it back. We'll then bill your company directly with Net 30-day terms, after the service is provided. Step 4.
