This summer Mesmer will be offering the 6 Week Intensive Instruction Program in Softimage XSI! The IIP is intense: classes are all day, from 9 in the morning to 5 at night, four days a week, with only a few days in between to catch your breath. On days when you don't have class, lab is open from 9am-5:30pm.
Taught by certified instructors who really know their stuff, classes move rapidly and content is
professional quality. Everything you need for class is provided: machines, software, books, DVDs and

Just For The Intensive Program:
Ready to enroll?
Mesmer is extremely keen
on admitting people into the Intensive Program who have the right mix of
background, passions, and skills to become successful in this demanding
field.
The single most important
indicator of your success in a Mesmer Intensive Program is a burning
passion for your work.
If you have been passionate
about your interests all your life and want to pursue them simply because
you must, you are a great candidate for an Intensive Program.
Working in animation is
all about long hours, lots of coffee,
and a great deal of repetitive, precise, demanding work.
If that still sounds good
to you, you are probably passionate enough to succeed.
The Intensive Program Application Process:
(1) Read
the web description of the program, and understand the dedication and commitment
required. Email us at info@mesmer.com with any questions.
(2) Call 800.237.7311 or email info@mesmer.com to request a registration form. Submit your form with an 20% deposit to reserve your seat.
(3) Send in any relevant examples
of your work.
(4) If you prefer not to provide samples of your work or your work is
proprietary,
please call Mesmer to speak with an instructor about your background.
What
Work Should I Submit?
Work you choose to submit
may be of any type that demonstrates the essential fact that you have designed
a project, then taken it to completion.
Examples would include,
but not be limited to: Architectural
drawings, multimedia applications, web pages, sketches, charcoal drawings,
oil paintings, airbrushings,
tattoo art, videogame level design, character sketches, software application code, published fiction or non fiction, 2D cel animation, stop
motion film animation, musical compositions or recordings, or other
endeavor where you have actually brought a new work into the world.
The portfolio must be delivered
digitally, via email, CDROM, ftp, videotape (NTSC format) or floppy disk.
Original works should be scanned and reproduced digitally. Submissions
will not be returned.
Send an email to kpz@mesmer.com to let us know you'd like to send in your portfolio and how it will be delivered (ftp, by mail etc.).
will be reviewed by a staff member who will then
either accept or defer the application.
When successful, the Mesmer registrar will then process your registration and confirm your spot in your chosen program(s).
